Transition Year offers students an opportunity to mature and develop without the pressure of an examination. It also provides an opportunity for learners to reflect on, and develop an appreciation of, the value of learning in preparing them for the ever-changing demands of the adult world of work, further and higher education and relationships.

We offer an extensive programme where students can sample all Leaving Cert subjects, undertake regular work placement, and complete a variety of modules such as RSE, Film Studies, First Aid and Road Safety. A recent inspection by the DES was also very complimentary of the curricular and co-curricular opportunities we provide.
